Ribwort Plantain Roundel | Hand Painted
This round cast was created using a handful of Ribwort Plantain picked from the stony walk to the beach in Fife. Every Imprint cast is made by hand using a unique casting technique to capture the imprint of delicate botanical forms. The impression of the ribwort has been carped in grey clay and the background hand painted pale blue. All my casts come ready to hang with a hanging device attached to the reverse.

Materials: 100% Plaster of Paris, handle with care but the cast can be gently sponged clean if it gets marked. Please be aware that all my casts are poured by hand so there may be some variation in the thickness of the cast. The reverse of this vast is a little uneven but it doesn’t spoil the beauty on the front face.
My larger casts can be collected from my studio in Fife or Edinburgh or I can arrange to hand deliver the item to you for a small fee within Edinburgh and Fife.
