Freesia Headwith a Handmade Plaster frame
This oval cast was created using a single Freesia head. It was made using a plaster frame which was cast from a hand modelled clay frame. The entire piece is therefore made of plaster, so it’s framed and ready for you. The frame has been hand painted with yellow stripes and the background of the cast has been hand painted blue.
Every Imprint cast is made by hand using a unique casting technique to capture the imprint of delicate botanical forms. All my casts come ready to hang with a hanging device attached to the reverse. Please note the reverse of these casts aren’t the prettiest but doesn’t spoil the beauty of the front.
Dimensions: H24 x W16cm
Materials: 100% Plaster of Paris, handle with care but the cast can be gently sponged clean if it gets marked. Please be aware that all my casts are poured by hand so there may be some variation in the thickness of the cast.
My larger casts can be collected from my studio in Fife or Edinburgh or I can arrange to hand deliver the item to you for a small fee within Edinburgh and Fife.
