Seaweed - Hand Painted Frame
This delicate roundel cast was made using some seaweed I picked up whilst walking on the Portobello prom. The graceful imprint of the delicate seaweed form has been carefully preserved in a subtle grey clay, leaving a gentle hue on the smooth plaster surface. Presented within a box frame painted in Farrow&Ball oval room blue with contrasting hand painted stripes around the edge and sea green background, this cast will add a decorative pop to any interior.
Every Imprint cast is made by hand using a unique casting technique to capture the imprint of delicate botanical forms. Please be aware that all my casts are poured by hand so there may be some variation in the thickness of the cast.
Dimensions: 20 x 20 x 4cm
Materials: 100% Plaster of Paris, handle with care but the cast can be gently sponged clean if it gets marked. Please be aware that all my casts are poured by hand so there may be some variation in the thickness of the cast.
My framed casts can be collected from my studio in Fife or Edinburgh or I can arrange to hand deliver the item to you for a small fee within Edinburgh and Fife.
