Ribbon Floral Square Small
This cast was an experimental piece when I was developing working with fabrics. This piece features small flower heads divided by a row of ribbon which has been carefully pressed not the clay. The graceful imprint of the delicate flowers and velvet ribbons has been carefully preserved in a subtle grey clay and the background painted various hues of blue and green. It’s a one of a kind piece and the combination of flowers and fabric is something I am still working with in a different form.
Every Imprint cast is made by hand using a unique casting technique to capture the imprint of delicate botanical forms. This cast comes ready to hang but it could be framed if you prefer. Please contact me for more details before or after your purchase.
Dimensions: H20 × 20cm
Materials: 100% Plaster of Paris, handle with care but the cast can be gently sponged clean if it gets marked. Please be aware that all my casts are poured by hand so there may be some variation in the thickness of the cast.
My framed casts can be collected from my studio in Fife or Edinburgh or I can arrange to hand deliver the item to you for a small fee within Edinburgh and Fife.
