Orchid Head Roundel - Hand Painted Lilac
This roundel was made using a single orchid flower head. The graceful imprint of the delicate flowers and leaves has been carefully preserved in a subtle grey clay, leaving a gentle hue on the smooth plaster surface. The background of the plaster has been carefully hand painted lilac.
