Studio Update Summer 2023

Anddd its been a really exciting time in the studio as my new casting frames arrived recently. Earlier this year I designed a range of new casting frames with my husband (whoop) who is a graphic designer who works in signage so I am able to get my frames made to order which is a total gift. I’ve been experimenting with these new lozenges, skinny rectangles and scalloped edged squares. Loving the look of them so far - especially the botanical postage stamp style casts. I also have a 1m scallop to attempt - wish my luck. I did have to smash them all out of their frames as it often takes a few times working with new frames to get the casts out in one piece but it’s all part of the process. Can’t wait to get a wee collection together.
