Wedding Flower Preservation September - Rosie & Alistair

Rosie and Alistair planned and executed one of the most romantic, beautiful and wistful elopement I have come across. Rosie is a well known blogger and author based in Edinburgh with a love of slow, nature based living and turning away from the heftiness of modern life and her husband is a talented photographer. Rosie is the author of the best selling book Slow Seasons which celebrates and charts nature notes through the seasons and sets out activities, things to make, flowers or fruit to forage, seasonal recipes to enjoy and a modern take on the traditional celebrations. So it was truly a pleasure to create a lasting moment of their stunning wedding flowers by Marion Blythe of Ochre Botanicals, who had gifted the couple one of my vouchers to use for a bouquet cast. They eloped to a beautiful Perthshire woodland and had a private ceremony conducted by the amazing Rev Hazel Jane, and then headed to the orchard of Ballintaggart Farm for some stunning post ceremony photos and food. It looked like a truly magical day and I was so happy to use a few precious stems from the bouquet to make this oval cast for Rosie & Alistair to hang at home and remind them of that romantic day.
