Wedding Bouquet Preservation June 2023 Part 2

This absolute whopper of a bouquet was posted to me by the lovely Anna of Where The Ribbon Ends, who got married in May. She opted for the bridal bouquet package and posted up not only her own bouquet but also her bridesmaids and some table flowers too. Anna is a talented wedding cake maker and her family also own and run the beautiful monastic ruin Jervaulx Abbey in Yorkshire which operates as a home, a wedding venue, a caravan site, a wildflower meadow and they have also built some amazing huts in the grounds which I am visiting this year in exchange for casting Anna’s flowers - so exciting! I will be loosing myself in the beautiful wildflower meadow and taking a small casting kit with me so I can get to work while I am there and preserve my visit to the huts. This STUNNING array of pastel peonies, roses, delphiniums, eucalyptus, ranuculus and eryngiums was such a pleasure to work with. Anna knew the peonies and larger headed roses wouldn’t cast well but I am drying these out in the studio for her. I created a mixture of roundels, small bridesmaid squares, hanging casts and a large bridal square cast for Anna out of her gorgeous flowers. I cannot WAIT to stay in the huts and encourage everyone to check out the stunning venue Anna’s family have created from the Abbey.

To book your wedding bouquet cast in please send me an email and I can get some information to you.
