Studio Update March 2024

February has been a bit of a strange month, I have lots planned for March/April so its been a bit of a calm before the storm and I have been trying to keep motivated whilst also not overdoing it as I know what energy the next few weeks have in store. But I have been having fun experimenting more with hand painting framed, more urns and also had an urge to create a large snowdrop frieze using a variety of different snowdrops from mums woodland. We spent a wild windy morning picking snowdrops suited to the scale of this whopper cast and then I headed back to my Edinburgh studio to get making. It worked a treat and was a good creative itch to scratch.
