Studio Update February 2024

It is snowdrop season and one of my favoruite flowers to cast. I have been buy making miniatures, scalloped edged pieces for the next Birdie Fortescue collection as well as continuining my experimentation with urns. Its starting to get busy again and I am trying to pace myeslf eahda of a busy year, how are you feeling this February? I had a quick trip down to London last week to deliver a alrge cast to a clinet na dI took some time to visit one of my favoruite places in london, the Sir John Soane Museum. A treasure trove of plaster casts and artefacts collected by Soane during his sucesfully and important career. If you are in london I cannot recommend a visit here highly enough, it is a huge source of inspiration to me and has been a constant in my career, from visits here as a History of Art undergraduate, to taking my own students here when I was a teacher, and now as a continuing source of artistic inspiration.
