Studio Update June 2022

The garden is suddenly bursting with life and there are so many beautiful flowers to work with at the moment. I always get a bit frantic at this time of year - there is so many stunning flowers and foliage out and ready to cast and I worry I will miss the shortish life of these summer blooms. Particularly with the current hot weather and the fragility of these summer blooms. I have been continuing to build my collection of these large landscape panels - my aim is to make a series of these during this year to represent the garden at different seasons and stages of growth. This is the second of my series and I love experimenting with this scale of cast. Check out my previous blogs to see my spring landscape panel.
