Birdie Fortescue X Imprint Casts AW 2023

I had the pleasure of creating a bespoke collection of framed and scalloped casts for Birdie Fortescue’s Autum Winter 2023 Lisboa collection and King’s road pop up launching this carefully curated selection of homewares.

“Inspired by Birdie's trips to Portugal, Lisboa reimagines the vast array of dynamic pattern and design seen throughout the city’s decorative arts, with every print and colour thoughtfully chosen to be seamlessly styled together.”

I created this unique collection of casts to compliment Birdies 2023 Lisboa seasonal palette and the frame colours and hand painted scallops tie in with the colour theme for the whole collection. I launched an exclusive collection of framed miniastures with Birdie in the May release and created some extra large framed version for the AW collection. TThese miniatures are my nod to the intaglio collections amassed by 18th century gentleman on their Grand tour of Europe - the original gap year!

Birdie and her team set up a beautiful pop up store on London’s Kings Road earlier in the year and a selection of my casts can be found in her beautifully curated space filled with stunning, artisan homewares, art and accessories.

This is the second year I have made a unique collection of casts for Birdie and I am such a huge fan of her style, aesthetic and carefully curated interiors. The pieces are available at the Pop up and will be on Birdie’s website soon.
